The average person spends 1 hour and 18 minutes per page in our publication. That is an amazing amount of eye-ball time! With the crosswords and other puzzles, each page has a unique draw, and is as important as any other page. Rarely does a reader not work on all of the puzzles included.

It is not uncommon for us to receive upset phone calls when a particular location runs out of the current issue. We attribute this to our readers eagerly awaiting the puzzles and trivia.

We offer the most cost efficient and focused way to reach the Senior market. Our rates are only 6% that of the Oregonian's with our least expensive option being only $200 per issue.

We are now a Proud Member of the Northwest Regional Stroke Network

In 2007, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded the Washington State Department of Health funding to form the Northwest Regional Stroke Network, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon.

The focus of the network is to work across the Northwest region to:

Assess needs - for each state and across the region

Build capacity - strengthen and improve stroke care

Collaborate - working together with regional resources and policies. Examples include emergency response, telestroke, and distance learning.

The network formed to make it easier for states to work together on common challenges. There are currently five regional stroke networks  – four CDC-funded and one privately funded – in the United States.

This network values the Senior Sentinel as a tool to help stroke victims recover and we are proud they asked us to be a part.
